Pre-planning and following plans

To me this seems like common sense but is something we're lacking most of the time. Going forward, we need to pre-plan our matches, now obviously we can't account for everything little detail but this is how our plans should be broken down.
Firstly, discuss our own picks, let everyone on the team give their pick and reasoning for the pick, if another teammate disagrees with the pick choice due to let's say the likelihood of a counter pick etc then we will come to a comprise for said person.
Next we discuss possible enemy picks based on team knowledge, current meta picks and even some off hand picks that have shown some resurgence recently, by doing this, it will better help us come up with a contingency plan in champ select based on our prior discussion about our own picks.
And lastly, with the previous two points taken into consideration, going forward we can formulate a suitable composition based on the prior discussions on our picks and the enemies.
I don't expect this to go as smoothly as its written out in the beginning simply because it's a habit we'll all need to ease into, but if we are consistent in our planning, eventually it will feel stupid not to pre-plan for our matches. In turn, it will help with our decisiveness as a team and can also help in understanding how each other thinks in terms of strategies etc.
It's important to have a plan coming into a game so that everyone is on the same page and removes a level of miss-communication we otherwise might have, and there's no need to leave it to chance. It's a small step in the right direction we all need to get on board with.
