There are a ton of amateur online tournaments happening all the time. All the prize pools are in RP but I think it would be an interesting experience in the future to compete in a few of these amateur tournaments. The 1st prizes are usually somewhere around 3200 RP each, which I think is pretty fucking awesome considering that we'd all be sitting at home playing together as usual, just in a higher stakes environment.
Now obviously I'm not talking about next week or anytime soon, but I think once we've become comfortable as a team and really start to show results, I think it would be a nice incentive to try and up our game even further and possibly even make it into more interesting tournaments that offer cash prizes.
It's an exciting thought and we can always discuss it at a later time.

Update: In order for us to compete on the EU west ladder, you are all going to need to make an account on the esl website where you'll be invited to the team afterwards bit.ly/1sF0VEF
I think it will also be a good idea to read up on the rules aswell. Once you're all registered on the site and linked to the team, we can then talk about scheduling for it and when it will be a good time to sign-up.
A reminder that this isn't a tournament, it's a ladder, meaning that we can pick and choose which teams to play and the overall will decide our position on the ladder. Think of it as the equivalent to LCS scrim matches. We can choose to practice against teams and compete on the ladder at the same time and I also think there are prizes at the end of the season.
So hurry and sign up guys so we can start practising and hopefully improve from something other than random ranked teams.
